Online Print Solutions (OPS) integration with Prinergy enables automatic processing of print orders received from an OPS website. Variable data and static data print jobs are created and processed in Prinergy using Rules Based Automation (RBA). Prinergy can post the status of the print job back to the OPS website to let the print buyer know when the job has been printed and shipped. Prinergy 8.0 installs the OPS components automatically, including sample RBA rule sets. Requirements include an OPS instance set up with at least one website and an initial product, an RBA license for Prinergy, and experience in creating and debugging RBA rule sets. RBA will need to be configured to use the customer's SMTP relay server, if it isn't already, so that automated emails may be sent. Minor changes may be required to the firewall to allow the required network traffic to pass through
Note: The OPS integration feature is a chargeable option, and requires remote installation and start-up assistance (SUA). To add this functionality to your Prinergy system, contact your Kodak representative.
