If you are configuring a hot folder connection for an HP digital press with the HP Production Flow front end, create an Information Service Vendor (ISV) account.
Note: You do not need to complete theses tasks if you are using the HP SmartStream Production Pro Print Server or the HP SmartStream Onboard Print Server, which can be set up as managed connections for Prinergy Digital.

  1. On the HP Production Flow front end, create an ISV account that will function as a JDF hot folder.
For more information, see the JDF Setup for HP Indigo Digital Presses document that can be downloaded from the Kodak services and support portal. Also, for more information, see the HP front-end documentation or contact HP technical support.
  2. Share the ISV account so that the Prinergy software can put JDF files into it.

These instructions assume that the default ISV account has been set up and shared out as \\<HP server>\default AUUID.
