Many PDF tools and libraries do not support PDF files larger than 2 GB.
Even with compression, it is possible to achieve this file size with a few hundred raster PDF pages rendered at 600 dpi.
The operator may have to manually break up the job into multiple impositions or page sets to keep digital print files less than 2 GB in size.
This applies to all digital presses.
