Set up communication between Prinergy and the Creo Color Server.
Check that Prinergy supports the software version of your digital press front end. See supported digital presses.
If you have several Creo Color Servers that are running different digital presses, you must perform these steps for each system.

  1. Make sure that the following TCP ports are open between Prinergy and the Creo Color Server:
    • 61237
    • 80
  2. It's supported with both Legacy and New connection method.
    Legacy Method: In Prinergy Administrator, add the digital press. On the Managed Connections menu, click Add Connection, and select the type of digital press. Type the server name or IP address and press speed for the digital press. The digital press is listed in Digital Submit, Digital Direct, and Workshop.
    New JTE Method: In Setup, add the digital press. On the Setup menu, under Equipment > Digital Device, click Add Connection, and select the type of digital press. Type the server name or IP address and press speed for the digital press. The digital press is being added and listed in Setup, Workshop and Track.

  3. Give Prinergy access to the Creo Color Server, so that Prinergy can track audits. On the Creo Color Server, add the user account ARAXI or enable the guest account. The default password for the Araxi account is ARAXI.
