You can overlap step-and-repeat artwork to nest images. For an artwork file to be able to be nested, the program you use to create the artwork file must support transparent backgrounds.
To nest stepped and repeated objects, use the Step & Repeat dialog box embedded in the layout ticket to apply rotation and gap settings as necessary.
