- Enable a student: Allow students to solve their own problems without jumping in to rescue them. Have them think for themselves, because this builds their own support system and confidence. Provide them with support initially, but allow them time to process information on their own, as they become more familiar with the product.
- Get feedback: Find out how well they are doing and how well you are coaching. If something isn't working, make changes right away.
- Encourage questions: Ask whether your students understand the information being covered. Review the questions to ensure the answers make sense to everyone.
- Encourage note-taking: Encourage your students to take their own notes and allow them enough time to do so. Individual note-taking helps an individual process information in a way that is meaningful to them.
