- In Adobe Illustrator, select an image object that you want to change.
- On the Links palette, click the Adobe Photoshop image file with a .psd file name extension.
The image object is extracted to an internal link, and stored as an Adobe Photoshop file. - Edit the image in Adobe Photoshop.
- When you have finished editing, go back to Adobe Illustrator. A message appears, asking whether you would like to update the files now. Click Yes.
The links will be automatically updated.
