  1. From the Tools menu, select Process Template Editor.
  2. In the Process Template Editor, expand the Refine section.
  3. Select the <XX>_Refine Group you created in Activity 9.
  4. From the File menu, select New Process Template.
  5. From the File menu, select Save As.
  6. Name the new process template <XX>_APA Refine, (where XX is your initials).
  7. Click Create Process Template.
  8. Expand each appropriate section in your refine process template, and configure the following:
    1. In the Fonts area, select Fail on Missing Fonts.
    2. ColorConvert: Turn Functionality Off
    3. Trap: Turn Functionality Off
    4. Thumbnail: Turn Functionality On
    5. Impose: Select Automated Page Assignment - Overwrite Assignments, Using Job Settings
  9. Note: When you enable the APA-Overwrite Assignments, Using Job Setting feature, Prinergy automatically assigns the refined 1-up artwork PDF file to artwork set positions according to the instruction in an APA file (Job.apa). When you resubmit a 1-up artwork, for example, a corrected 1-up artwork, for refining, the system automatically assigns the corrected 1-up artwork to an artwork position, overwriting the existing 1-up artwork in the artwork set.
    Note: If there is more than one APA file in the Control folder, the system uses the file with the latest date and time. It does not automatically use the file with the latest version number.
  10. From the File menu, select Save.
  11. Close the Refine process template.
  12. Expand your refine group to view the new refine process template (XX_APA Refine, where XX is your initials).
  13. Close the Process Template Editor.
