  1. From the Tools menu, select Automated Page Assignment Editor.
    Notice that the window now contains entries for every artwork position, based on the imported layout.
  2. Select all rows and click Remove.
  3. Click Add.
  4. In the Refined File Name column, select Match Either, then typeRed, then select Match Either again.
  5. Select the space below the column heading Artwork Set Name/Prefix. Select All Artwork Sets.
  6. Select the space below the Position column. Delete the number "1" and type 1..3. This will position the Red artwork in positions 1 to 3.
  7. In the Layer column, leave the layer as 1. This column is used for versioning.
  8. From the Edit menu, select Copy Rows, and from the Edit menu, select Paste Rows.
  9. In the new row, change the text from Red to Green.
  10. In the Position column of the new row, change the position 1..3 to 4..6.
  11. From the Edit menu, select Paste Rows.
  12. In the new row, change the text from Red to Blue.
  13. In the Position column of the new row, change the position 1..3 to 7..9
  14. Close the APA Editor. In the Save Before Opening a New APA File dialog box, select Yes.
  15. In the Save APA File As...dialog box, click Save to save the file as Job.v2.apa. This file will be automatically saved to the Control folder located in your job folder XX_APA_Range (where XX is your initials).
