  1. Select your new refine group.
  2. From the File menu, select New Process Template.
  3. From the File menu, select Save As.
    Name the new process template as <XX>_Refine (where XX is your initials) in the box at the bottom. Click Create Process Template. View the new name in the process template window.
  4. Expand each appropriate section in your refine process template, and configure the following:
    • In the Normalize section: Check that in the PDF Level Handling area, PDF 1.4-1.6 (Adobe Acrobat 5-7) is set to the default value Leave as is. Prinergy will now detect and preserve transparency in PDF 1.4 or later files.
    • ColorConvert: clear
    • Trap: clear
    • Thumbnail
  5. From the File menu, select Save.
  6. Close the Refine dialog box.
  7. Expand your refine group to view the new refine process template.
  8. Close the Process Template Editor.
