The main tertiary server must be disconnected from the network before you perform this task.
Restoration involves mirroring of data back from the failover tertiary server to the main tertiary server and might take several hours. If possible, schedule restoration during non-production hours.

  1. Stop the Prinergy software on all servers.
  2. On the failover tertiary server, open Double-Take Console.
  3. Select Manage Jobs.
  4. Right-click the PrinergyJobs job, and select the Failback... option.
  5. In the Failback dialog box, click the Failback button.
  6. Wait until the Activity becomes Restore required.
  7. Turn on the main tertiary server.
  8. Select Manage Servers, and wait for the main tertiary server to appear in the list of servers.
  9. Select Manage Jobs.
  10. Right-click the PrinergyJobs job, and select the Restore... option.
  11. In the Restore dialog box, select the main tertiary server, and click the Continue button to begin the data restore process.
  12. After the Activity becomes Restored and the Mirror status is Idle, restart the primary server, the main tertiary server, and the failover tertiary server.
  13. After the servers' restart process is completed, restart Prinergy and confirm that Prinergy is once again able to access the main tertiary server and that any changes made while failed over have been restored.
  14. Once confident that everything is working correctly, perform the starting job replication procedure.
