You must configure the JTPs on the Hot Standby server so that they match the primary server closely enough to resume production after a failover.

  1. Carefully review the current JTP and JTP pool distribution on the primary server, Hot Standby server, and any other secondary and render station servers.
  2. Determine and record which JTPs and JTP pool configurations need to be set up on the Hot Standby server so that they match the primary server configurations identically or at least adequately.
    To make it easy to configure and verify your preferred distribution of JTPs on the Hot Standby server, you can use this table to record the pools and JTPs that you will need for the Hot Standby failover operation:
