Prinergy Emergency Platemaking (EPM) allows Prinergy systems to continue to process jobs and produce plates after the primary server fails.
An EPM server is a Prinergy secondary server (or render station) that is configured for EPM mode and has all of the primary server's Prinergy software components installed on it. These components include the Prinergy executables, libraries, and configuration files. The EPM server uses an Oracle database that is physically independent from the original primary server.
