You can change the transparency by performing one of the following:
To do this | Take this action |

To make an ink transparent | In the Separations palette, move its ink transparency slider to the left. If the Separations palette is not currently displayed from the Window menu, select Show Separations Palette. |
To make a surface transparent | In the Separations palette, move the transparency slider for that surface to the left. |
To make the foreground surface more opaque (less transparent) | From the Sheet menu, select More Opaque. - In Mac OS, you can also press
] . - In Windows, you can also press F10 or move the front surface slider in the Separations palette to the right.
The opacity (transparency) changes in one percent increments each time the menu item is selected, or the shortcut key is pressed. |
