Using the Pan tool

1. From the Tools menu, select Pan tool, and perform one of the following actions:
   
   1. • In the main window, position the hand over the image, and drag to move the image.
      • In the Navigation palette, position the hand over the selection rectangle, and drag to move it.

   The main window displays the area now enclosed by the selection rectangle.

2. When the Measure tool, the Densitometer tool, or the Zoom tool is active, press the space bar to enable panning.
