Trapping only common object borders

The Only common object borders check box is available in the Trap Selection dialog box only.

• When the Only common object borders check box is selected, and objects selected—the tool traps only those boundaries shared by the selected objects.
• When the Only common object borders check box is cleared, and objects selected—the tool traps all of the selected object's borders.

Note: The Only common object borders option does not apply in the following cases:

• When you are trapping one selected object
• When you are regenerating a selected trap or traps
• When you are generating a new trap for selected borders
