Starting the Prinergy VPS software

You can start the Prinergy VPS software without opening any files, or start it and open files at the same time.
Select one of the following procedures to start the VPS software:

• To start the software without opening any files, double-click the Prinergy VPS software icon.
• To open files from within the Prinergy VPS software:
  1. Open the Job Browser dialog box using either the menu or the toolbar.
     Note: The Job Browser icon  is available in the toolbar.
     The Job Browser dialog box opens.
  2. Navigate to the folder containing the preview files you want to view and click Choose.
     The preview files contained in the selected folder are grouped by job and imposition and are displayed in the Job Browser dialog box.
  3. Click Open.
• To start the Prinergy VPS software and open files at the same time:
  1. In a file browser, select the files you want to view.
  2. Perform one of the following actions:
  • • Drag the files onto the Prinergy VPS software icon.
    • Double-click one of the selected files.
    • Right-click the selected files, and select Send To > Prinergy VPS. (This method applies only in the Windows operating system.)
