Fonts should be embedded in input files. If fonts aren't embedded in input files, font information must be available to Prinergy Workflow. For font information to be available to Prinergy, fonts must be in PFA format, which is not a standard format that font vendors provide.
If fonts are already embedded in input files, or if they reference only the base 193 Adobe fonts that are shipped with Prinergy Workflow in PFA format, you don't need to use a font converter or a font search path.
Otherwise, first use a font converter to convert the fonts to PFA format and add the converted fonts to Prinergy, and then add a font search path to the Prinergy job. Do this before you refine input files.

Font Converter contains two tabs: a Global tab and a Job tab. Fonts on the Global tab are stored on the home server and are available to all jobs. Fonts on the Job tab are stored in the job folder and are available only for the job.
The font search path specifies the location of the fonts. You can copy a font search path from an existing job when you create a new job, or you can set the font search path later, from Job Manager.
