When you generate outputs, you control calibration in the Calibration and Screening section of the output process template.
You must calibrate to control the tones on your press sheet. Tonal values can change during the print reproduction process because of dot gain, when the size of the halftone dots changes. With calibration, you manipulate the exact size of the dots on the printing plates, so that the tone saturation and gray balance is controlled on the press sheet. You can use Harmony software to create, apply, and manage calibration curves that control the tone reproduction on press.
