The Version Proof Status interface, allows you to see the Loose Page output status of all your Versions. The VP pages are listed along the left column, each Output/proofer group is listed along the top in separate tabs. Because the same PDF can be assigned to multiple Page Sets, ONLY output from a Page set is tracked in the Version Proof Status interface.
Access the Version Proof Status dialogue, by selecting a Page Set, right click and selecting "Version Proof Status", the Versioning Menu and shortcuts CMD/CTRL+U
In the example above, all versions for Position Q6 output successfully (indicated by the Green Circle icon). Page Position Q3 had warnings on Output of the ENG and ITA versions. Page Position Q7 had errors on 3 different versions (indicated by the Red Circle icon)
In the example above, the red bar indicates VPs that do not have pages assigned yet. The solid long red bar, indicates that VP_10 doesn't have a Component page assigned to the base.
In Prinergy 9.5 we also introduced 3 new icons at the Pages > Page Setup level:
Open Green Circle icon. Indicates, at least one version output was successful, and at least one version has not been output yet
Open Yellow triangle icon. Indicates at least one version output issued a warning and at least one version has not been output yet
Open Red Circle icon. Indicates, at least one version that was output, issued a error, and at least one version has not been output yet
*Note, a solid icon indicates all versions were output with the same status.
The following operations will clear proof status:
- Unlinking a component PDF from a Version Page
- Re-refining a component page
- Geometry of a page changes
- Re-Generating a Version page
