The Prinergy Workflow software supports JMF connections to Konica Minolta bizhub presses through the Konica Minolta digital front end.
Check that Prinergy supports the software version of your digital press front end. See Supported digital presses.
Konica Minolta Controller is supported with both Legacy and New connection method. Konica Minolta IJ Manager is only supported with New connection method.
Legacy Method: In Prinergy Administrator, add the digital press:
- On the Managed Connections menu, click Add Connection, and select the type of digital press. Type the server name or IP address and press speed for the digital press.
The digital press is listed in Digital Submit, Digital Direct, and Workshop. - Right-click the DFE name and in the Properties dialog box, in the File Transfer box, select Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP).
New JTE Method: In Setup, add the digital press. On the Setup menu, under Equipment > Digital Device, click Add Connection, and select the type of digital press. Type the server name or IP address and select speed for the digital press. The digital press is being added and listed in Setup, Workshop and Track.
Note: There is currently no JDF ticket editor for Konica Minolta. Use the default JDF template supplied by Konica Minolta for sending jobs from Prinergy Workflow to the Konica Minolta DFE.
