About connecting Prinergy to Kodak, Matchprint Inkjet (MPI) Controller workstation Kodak Proofing Software (KPS) and specific Epson inkjet proofers, third-party color RIP workstations or Windows PostScript print drivers with PostScript-compatible proofers.

Kodak Prinergy’s supported workflows in order of preference:

  • Prinergy -> direct connect -> KPS -> specific supported Epson SureColor P-series inkjet proofers.
  • Prinergy -> PDF or TIFF -> network shared folders on a 3rd party color RIP server -> printer
  • Prinergy -> PS3 or EPS Raster -> Windows PS print driver -> PS compatible printer.

Note: If your Prinergy server is on a network that uses a proxy server, you must bypass the proxy server in order to connect devices to Prinergy.
To do so, go to Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings, and select the the Bypass proxy server for local addresses check box.
Note: You can also access this check box from the Tools menu in your Internet Explorer browser (Tools > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings).
