HyperFlex has two benefits:
- It increases the overall UV energy hitting a given area to help activate the plate
- It helps to build up the floor and increase the slope of the shoulders of halftone dots, which aids in supporting the dot when under impression

Cross-section shows that floor height is increased and inter-dot relief becomes consistent, ensuring better print quality
Other vendors offer hybrid screening solutions similar to Maxtone, but it is only with the enabling technology of Kodak HyperFlex that you gain the full benefit of a hybrid screening strategy.
