Add Kodak Veris and Matchprint proofing devices to the Prinergy system manually.
The Kodak Veris and Matchprint proofing devices are controlled by the Kodak Proofing Software on a separate server. With Kodak Proofing Software, you can specify tiling flags and sheet templates that appear in process templates in Workshop.
- Open Prinergy Administrator.
- From the Tools menu, select Configure System.
- In the Configuration Options dialog box, click the Kodak Proofers tab.
- Click Add..
- In the Add Kodak Proofer dialog box, either select a server from the list or type the UNC path of the server that you want to add, in the format
\\servername\sharename. - Click OK twice.
- When a message warns you that you must restart the system, click OK.
- When you are ready, restart the Prinergy system on all servers.
When you add a Kodak proofing device manually to the Prinergy system, using Prinergy Administrator, information from the proofing device appears in the Device section of process templates in Workshop.
Note: Drivers for the proofing device may be required to be installed on the Prinergy server sending files to a shared print queue.
