The Managed Services blade in PRINERGY Portal allows you to control over certain scheduled events.

The following documentation will explain how to setup and schedule the Weekly Maintenance task. Initiation of the weekly maintenance task will account for any required Window’s updates and security patches; then upon success the restart of each VM.

Setting Preferences for Weekly Maintenance

When your KODAK Managed Service subscription was created, Weekly Maintenance was automatically scheduled at 01:00 am Sunday mornings.

The schedule is set to the time zone specified in the Pre-Configuration form that was filled out when the order for Managed Services was placed. This is the same time zone used for the Azure Nightly Backup as well as the time zone used to set on all the VM clocks. This time zone must be the same time zone set in the PRINERGY Portal Portal preferences. If you have multiple sites connecting to the Portal subscription, from different time zones, you can have an Admin RDP into one of the VMs to check which Time zone was specified.

Once you know the time zone of the PRINERGY Portal subscription, open Preferences and set the same time zone. Set the time zone in the Display Time control that match the time zone of the PRINERGY Primary VM and press Save.

NOTE: The description of the time zone does not need to match, but the offset from UTC needs to be the same.

Modifying the Weekly Maintenance Schedule

To modify the Weekly Maintenance schedule, select the Managed Services Status dashboard from the Managed Services Pane. When the Managed Services Status dashboard appears, there will be a single Scheduled Events tile named Weekly Maintenance. It will list the current day of the week, time, and time zone for the Weekly Maintenance schedule.

Please note that the time zone displayed, is the time zone you have set in the Preferences, and must match the time zone of the PRINERGY Primary.

To change the schedule, press the gear icon at the top of the Weekly Maintenance tile. This will make the day of the week and time fields editable. Use the day-of-the-week menu to select a day for the schedule. Use the time menu to select a time for the schedule. The time menu uses twenty-four (24) time. Once the day and time have been set, press the checkmark icon at the top of the Weekly Maintenance tile. This will set the new schedule.

When complete, press the Close button at the top of the Managed Services Status dashboard.
