The Import function can be used to import a list of Inks and their specifications. Import allows you to do data entry in an optimized spreadsheet environment, and create an entire color library in one operation, rather than creating libraries a single entry at a time in the Portal user interface.

Click on the Import button and browse to the import file.

The import file must be formatted as a .csv, and must contain the following fields as the first row of the file:

name,id,sku,colorType,manufacturer,productLine,base,price,costUnit,weightUnit

The following rows will contain the name and specifications for each ink:

PANTONE 0123,111,,Spot,Sun Inks,UChrome,AQI,50,USD,lb
PANTONE 0223,112,,Spot,Sun Inks,UChrome,AQI,60,USD,lb
PANTONE 0323,113,,Spot,Sun Inks,UChrome,AQI,70,USD,lb
PANTONE 0423,114,,Spot,Sun Inks,UChrome,AQI,50,USD,lb
PANTONE 0523,115,,Spot,Sun Inks,UChrome,AQI,60,USD,lb
VARN,116,,Varnish,Sun Inks,UChrome,AQI,20,USD,lb
Coater,117,,Varnish,Sun Inks,UChrome,AQI,20,USD,lb

When you open the Import file, PRINERGY Portal will parse the file and flag any issues that prevent import of a color, such as duplicate color names.

If all parameters are good, then the Result will be marked as OK () and the color will be imported and added to the list of available Inks and Coatings.
