Stepping and repeating items

For jobs that are missing a CAD file, you can create one using the dieline separation from the 1-up artwork, if it exists. CAD Correct can import an EPS file of the die-line separation, identify the die lines, step it to create the die layout, and produce a CF2 file for Pandora software.

To step and repeat an item:

1. Open an EPS file of a single die station.
   For more information about opening files, see Opening files.
2. In the Input file pane, in the Current Item list, select Die_0.
3. Select the S&R tab.
4. Define the step-and-repeat settings.
   For more information about step-and-repeat settings, see S&R tab.
   To step and repeat more than one item, step the first item, then add another die (a single EPS die station). For more information about adding dies, see Loading multiple dies into a layout. 
5. Click OK.
