The settings in the Preferences > Die Settings > Snap Artwork to Die area determine how artwork snaps to the die in the layout view.

All artwork centered within the trim box snaps accurately to the die when set to Use Trim Box from Artwork. This default setting accurately positions almost all artwork imported to Pandora.

For artwork not centered within the trim box, determine if the artwork die line is vector or raster (bitmap) data. If the artwork was created in software such as Adobe Illustrator, the die is likely defined as stroked lines only and is vector data. If the PDF artwork was exported by a third-party prepress system, it will likely consist of raster (bitmap) data.
