- If the Geometry palette is not currently shown, select Window > Show Geometry Palette.
- Click the object to select it.
The coordinates of the current position of the selected item appear on the Geometry palette. - Click a reference point on the diagram, and type the coordinates of the location where you want to place the object in the X and Y boxes on the Geometry palette. Press Enter or click in another box to apply the setting.
Tip: You can also click the object and drag it to a new location or use the arrow keys to nudge it into place.
