Using these recommended practices will help you generate print-ready PDF files.
- Create composite PDF input files that comply with Ghent PDF Workgroup (GWG) specifications. For information about preparing files from specific software, use the application settings on the Ghent PDF Workgroup web site (http://www.gwg.org) to generate print-ready PDFs.
- For color-matched workflows, such as color conversions applied with Kodak ColorFlow Ink Optimizing solution, use GWG version 4 (1v4) application settings, which restrict the use of transparency.
- Review the GWG recommendations on the GWG web site for use of standard ICC profiles for printing (http://www.gwg.org/recommended-icc-profiles/) in order to adjust the color settings to meet your printing requirements.
