Selecting substrates or plates

After you select the press and output devices that you plan to use for the job, you know the substrate, plate, and film sizes you can use for the job.

1. If the ShopMap palette is not currently shown, select Window > ShopMap Palette.
2. On the ShopMap palette, click Materials.
3. Click the Substrate or Plate tab.
4. Click the substrate or plate you want to use, and drag it to the layout view.

You are now ready to add artwork, a die, and marks to the job.
