Use the Geometry palette to resize one or more artworks or marks (you cannot resize dies), or to scale them (you cannot scale dies) by adding or subtracting from the current sizes. When you select multiple objects, the boxes on the Geometry palette remain empty. Type the amount of the change you want to apply to the selected objects. The next time you select one of the changed objects individually, the Geometry palette displays adjusted dimensions and scaling percentages.
- If the Geometry palette is not currently shown, select Window > Show Geometry Palette.
- While holding down the Shift key, click each object in the layout that you want to affect.
- Perform one of the following actions
- To add or subtract from the dimensions of the selected objects, type the amount that you want to add or subtract in the W and H boxes. For example, to add half an inch to the width of the selected objects, type .5 or 1/2. To subtract half an inch, type -.5 or -1/2.
- To scale the selected objects, type the percentages to which you want the objects scaled in the horizontal and vertical % boxes.
- Press Enter.
