You can change the size of an object (artwork or mark) by typing the required dimensions or by scaling it.
Note: You can scale artwork and marks, but not dies.
- If the Geometry palette is not currently shown, select Window > Show Geometry Palette.
- Click the object to select it.
- On the Geometry palette, type the width and height you want to apply to the object in the W and H boxes.
Tip: After the current width or height figure, you can type the amount you want to add or subtract from that dimension, and the software will calculate the result.
Note: Be sure to position the cursor after the number on the Geometry palette before you type the amount to add or subtract. If the number on the Geometry palette is highlighted and you type +1, +1 replaces the number instead of being added to it. - Press Enter.
Notice that the size change you apply is also reflected in the changed scaling percentages on the Geometry palette.
