Placing objects using gap line measurement

If gap line between placement measurement distances are not showing, enable the option in Preferences > General tab in the Measurements area.
To select the object, click it.
The gap lines will show between objects on the layout.
Click the line for the distance that you want to change.
Double-click one of the selected line's arrowheads.
In the Enter new distance window, type the new distance measurement.
Click OK.
The object will move based on the new distance that you entered.
