Specific hot folder settings are needed to correctly print a profile chart that is used to create a profile for halftone emulation.

Requirements:

  • Simulation device link profile that represents your target color
  • The simultation device link profile has been imported into Proofer Administrator.

Examples of a profile chart are the ECI 2002 chart or the iT8.7-4 chart. You can also use ColorFlow software to create a profile chart. After you print the chart, you will measure the chart to create a set of characterization data that will be used to create a halftone emulation profile.
