(Open connectivity only) When the Selective Map to Process feature is enabled, you can edit the separation mappings in a proof as needed.

  1. Submit a job to the hot folder that is configured for selective mapping.
  2. In Controller Viewer, click the Queue
  3. Locate and expand the item in the Queue
  4. Right-click a page, and select Edit Separations.
  5. (Optional) In the Edit Separationdialog box, view the displayed default User Library or Factory Library, and change the selections as needed for this proof.
  6. To edit the mapping of a color in the Separations list, expand the selection list in the Separation Mapping column, and specify how to handle the selected separation.

Perform any of the following actions:

  • Ensure that any separation that is not to be mapped is set to Leave as is, which outputs the color to the proofer according to the hot folder presets.
  • Select Convert to Process to map the color to process separations based on the recipes in the User Library that is specified at the upper right.
  • To map to a specific color in a factory or user library, select From user library or From factory library.
    • For Matchprint inkjet, select the library that contains the recipe for this separation. A warning symbol appears if the selected library does not contain a color with the exact same name as the separation.
  • To map the color to another separation in this proof, select the name of the separation from the list. You cannot map to a separation that is already mapped.
  1. Click Save to return to the Queue
  2. Repeat the procedure as needed for any page with a pencil icon beside it.
  3. To resume processing with changes applied, right-click the proof and select Next.
