Jobs won't appear in the Processor queue

Symptom

You submit a job file to the proofer but it does not appear in the Processor queue.

Cause

What you are referring to as a "job" could be in a number of places. The proofer may have processed it and placed on a sheet in the Proofer queue, or even imaged the file completely and placed the proof in the Trash. On the other hand, the proofer may still be processing the file internally but has not yet displayed it in the Processor queue or the workflow software (Prinergy) is still processing the file.

Solution

1. In the Queues window in the Proofer Viewer, check the Processor
2. In the Queues window in the Proofer Viewer, check the names of all the proofs on the sheets in the Proofer
3. Check the list of proofs in the Trash window.
4. Check in the Controller Viewer window.
