You can export an ICC device profile or an ICC DeviceLink profile that you want to import as an .icc file into a copy of Kodak Proofing Software or other workflow software.
Note: Profiles provided by Kodak are signed. For more information about signed profiles, see the applicable Certified Process for Color Confirmation topics.
- In Proofer Administrator, click the Proofericon, and click the ICC Profiles
- Select the ICC device or DeviceLink profile.
- Click Export.
- In the Export Profile dialog box, select how much information you want to include with the profile, and click OK.
- If the profile is currently in use (such as in a media configuration or color bar) and you want to reuse the same setup, select As profile with description. The resulting a .profilefile can be imported only into Kodak Proofing Software. Any existing signature is preserved.
- To export a signed profile as a .iccfile that preserves the signature, select As profile without description.
- To export a signed profile as a .iccfile without the signature, select As unsigned profile.
- Locate the folder where you want to put the profile, and click Saveor Save As.
Note: If you click Save As and plan to import the file into Kodak Proofing Software, the file name can contain up to 100 characters. Do not use the + - \ / | < > [ ] { } ? . , ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) = : ; ' " characters in file names.
