Copying a hot folder

You can copy a hot folder and edit the new settings to create a new open connectivity submission path.

For example, you can copy an existing virtual printer and save the copy as a hot folder, complete with the same or modified settings.

1. In Proofer Viewer, select Configure> Hot Folders / Virtual Printers.
2. In the Hot Folders / Virtual Printers dialog box, select a hot folder.
3. Click Copy.
4. In the Name box, type a unique name for the hot folder.
5. Select the File Input Type—Windows 7 and later supports only the Hot Folder
6. If desired, select a different Media Configuration from the list in the Processor Presets
7. Click OK.
8. In the Process Settings dialog box, edit the hot folder settings as needed on all applicable tabs.
9. Record or copy the displayed File Input Location—you will need this path when exposing or publishing the hot folder.
10. Click Save.
