Edit

Indicates that you can edit the item. From the Items menu, select Edit Separations to open the Edit Settings dialog box, view a list of all colors in the item, and specify how to handle each color. For example, you can convert a color to process color or map the color to another color in a color library.

Note: You must edit the settings of each page in the item. You cannot edit the settings for the item and apply the settings to the item's pages.

Measure

Starts the Measurement wizard for the selected item. The Measurement wizard helps you measure color bars for the Certified Process for Color Confirmation. (The item must meet the requirements for the Certified Process for Color Confirmation before you can access the Measurement wizard.) The layout used to process the files specifies whether to use the Certified Process for Color Confirmation.

Next

Moves the selected item up the queue to be processed next. Only items in the waiting state can use this feature.

Pause and Resume an item

Pauses and resumes the following items when they are in the indicated state:

  • A file that is in the waiting state
  • A page that is in the waiting state
  • A proof that is waiting to be color corrected
  • A copy of a proof that is waiting to be printed

Processor queue paused

Indicates that the item is paused in the Processor queue in the Proofer Viewer window. When the Processor queue is paused, it does not process any files. You must go to the Proofer Viewer window to unpause the Processor queue. You cannot unpause the Processor queue in the Controller Viewer Queues window.

Purged

Indicates a status of Purged. The name of the purged item remains in Kodak Proofing Software, but its image has been deleted, and you can no longer print proofs for the item.

Open Scatter icon

Indicates that the proof has been added to a scatter layout that is waiting for additional compatible proofs to fill the sheet.

Warning

Indicates a warning. For more information about the warning, position the mouse over the icon and read the tooltip.
