Controller Version
Displays the version of the Controller software currently running on the Proofer Controller.
Client Version
Displays the version of the Proofer Client software on your workstation. You are using this version of the Proofer Client software when you open the Proofer Finder, Proofer Viewer, and Proofer Administrator.
Change, Remove, or Reactivate a Version of Controller Software
Opens a dialog box for you to change, remove, or reactivate a version of the Controller software.
When you change or reactivate the version of Controller software, the Controller must restart. After restarting, you can only open proofers with compatible client software versions.
Status Pane
Displays the name and status of each software component installed on the Controller, such as the Controller software, Report Engine, VNC Server, Open Connectivity, and software for each proofer.
Use Stop or Restart under the Status pane to stop or restart the selected software.
Stop/Restart
Use Stop or Restart under the Status pane to stop or restart the selected software.
If you stop the Controller software, the Report Engine and all proofer software components also stop.
Restart Controller Software
Restarts the Proofer Controller software. Under normal operation, this software should always be running.
Reboot Controller Hardware
Restarts the Proofer Controller. Restarting takes approximately five minutes.
Install Software
