The system automatically chooses the generic input color set depending on the media that you've chosen and the standard for your geographical location. Each color set handles the CMYK and RGB elements of a file slightly differently. If these presets don't match what you are trying to do, choose the one that best matches your needs, and click Advanced to customize it.
EU Coated
Describes a standard European input color space for files that are intended for coated medi.
EU Uncoated
Describes a standard European input color space for files that are intended for uncoated media.
JP Standard
Describes a standard Japanese input color space.
RGB Only
Assigns a standard RGB profile to the RGB elements in an input file but does not assign any profiles to the CMYK elements. Use this setting if you believe your CMYK objects do not need color transformation, either because of the way the objects were designed or because there is an embedded profile.
US Sheetfed Coated
Describes a standard North American input color space for files that are intended for coated media.
US Sheetfed Uncoated
Describes a standard North American input color space for files that are intended for coated media.
US Web Coated
Describes a standard North American input color space for files that are intended for a web press with coated media.
US Web Uncoated
Describes a standard North American input color space for files that are intended for a web press with uncoated media.
