If you were using a temporary emergency license, and the permanent license becomes available, it is more efficient to replace the temporary license license with the new license than it is to remove the temporary license and add a new one.
Requirements:
- New license file for the product version that is registered to the ID of the installed dongle (<dongleID>_KodakProofingSoftware-<prooferType>_<version>_Response.xml)
- Copy the new license file to an accessible location.
- In Proofer Administrator, click the Controller icon, and click the License
- Select the currently enabled license key that you want to replace.
- Click Replace, and in the message that appears, click OK to confirm your action.
- In the Select License File dialog box, locate and select the license file, and click Open.
- When prompted, click OK to automatically restart the Controller software and activate the licensed features.
- After the restart, check the License tab to confirm that the licensed upgrade features are now available.
When you select the license key, the associated features are listed below the license box.
