In Proofer Administrator, the Media Types tab lists all the types of media available for the selected proofer. Media types are added to the Media Types tab when you:
- Install configuration files
- Create custom media configurations with the Media Configuration Wizard
Only enabled media types on the Media Types tab are available for selection in the Media Configuration Wizard when you create custom media configurations. Disabled media types are unavailable for selection in the Media Configuration Wizard.
In addition, the Media Types tab does not control the Media Types list in the Set Device Configuration dialog box. This Media Types list is derived from the enabled media configurations.
