Providing information in the Setup File Input dialog box is the first step when you create a new hot folder.
Except for the Name option, the options in this dialog box are preset processing instructions for jobs submitted to the new hot folder. These presets are based on common tasks that you may be attempting to perform with your proofer, such as simulating the output of a CMYK press, simulating a CMYK press that has a spot color, or outputting jobs when the proofer is the final output.
If the presets do not exactly match what you are trying to do, they can serve as starting points from which you can customize the settings to fit your needs. To customize, choose the options that best match your printing process, click Next, and then customize the settings.
