You can import ICC profiles, ICC device link profiles, and profile resource files.

Kodak Proofing Software can produce a resource file when you export a profile. Resource files have a .profile extension, and they include a description of the profile.

The import process lets you overwrite unsigned profiles with unsigned profiles of the same name, but the process will not let you overwrite signed profiles with unsigned profiles of the same name.

Note: Do not use these characters in file names:  + - \ / | < > [ ] { } ? . , ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) = : ; ' "
You can import only valid ICC profiles with file names of 100 characters or less. If you try to import an ICC profile that is invalid, you see the message Failed to import <filename>.

  1. In Proofer Administrator, click the Proofer icon, and click the ICC Profiles tab.
  2. Click Import.
  3. Locate and select the ICC profile or device link profile that you want to import.
If you want to import more than one profile, select all the profiles that you want to import.
  4. Click Open.
The profiles are copied from the network folder to the proofer.
