For the hot folder to process screened input files, such as 1-bit TIFF or DCS files, select one of the screened input choices. Select Screened input files, Descreen to process screened input files, descreen the input files, and print contone proofs. Select Screened input files, Resample to process screened input files, resample the input files to the resolution specified in the media configuration that is selected for the hot folder, and print halftone proofs. You can use only hot folders for this workflow, and a media configuration with a supported resolution is required.
For the input mechanism to produce proofs that emulate halftone screens, select Proofs emulate halftone.
For the input mechanism to produce proofs on clear media, select Color Keys (Hot folder only). You can use only hot folders for this workflow, and a media configuration with a supported resolution is required.
For all other types of input mechanisms, select None.
