The Events window and Events tab display the most recent historical events, such as which computer turned the Report Engine on or off and the time when it was turned on or off. Depending on where you open the Events window or the Events tab, you can view events for the Proofer Administrator, a proofer, or a Proofer Controller.
You can sort the events by date or by description. When sorted by Date/Time, the oldest or newest event is at the top of the list. When sorted by Message, the list is sorted in ascending, alphabetical order. You can view the full message of truncated lines by double-clicking the event.
You can open the Events window or Events tab from the following locations:
- Proofer Administrator > Events tab: The Events tab only contains events related to the Proofer Administrator.
- Proofer Viewer > Events window: The Events window in the Proofer Viewer contains events related only to that proofer.
- Controller Viewer > Events window: The Events window in the Controller Viewer contains events related only to that Proofer Controller.
On the Events tab in the Proofer Administrator, you can click Notifications to open the Notification Manager that allows you to configure your email notifications settings.
