Upgrading the firmware

1. In Proofer Viewer, click the Maintenancebutton.
2. Click the Service
3. In the Service Tree, navigate to Scripts > Scripts.
4. Run the following script: Kodak\Proofer Client\ JavaScripts\ MachineControl\ update_dsp_firmware.js.
5. When prompted whether to auto-detect the DSP device type, click Yes.

The firmware upgrade takes about two minutes per device.

1. In the Scripting view, look at the Output pane to confirm that each DSP successfully upgraded.

• If the upgrade is successful, disconnect the USB cable from the Proofer Controller, wait two seconds, and then reconnect it. Exit the Service window.

• If the upgrade was unsuccessful, contact a service representative.
