Requirements:
- Proofer controller—whenever possible, the same proofer controller that will run this proofer for regular production
- Proofer—properly set up (including the latest firmware) and added in Kodak Proofing Software via the Add Proofer wizard. For instructions, see the applicable topics.
- Spectrophotometer—ready to perform measurements and an adequate supply of media is loaded on the proofer. For instructions, see the applicable topics.
- Time—several hours. Unless otherwise indicated, always allow at least 30 minutes of drying time after each print.
Note: If you exit before finishing, the next time that you start the wizard, you can continue from where you stopped.
- In Proofer Viewer, from the Configure menu, select Media Configuration.
- Click New.
The Media Configuration wizard starts to guide you through the process of creating a new media configuration.
